Participating in the workshop inauguration were Unicaja Banco’s Head of CSR, José María Lopez, the Executive Deputy President of Malaga Association of Busines Owners (CEM, Confederación de Empresarios de Málaga), Natalia Sánchez, and the President of Corresponsables, Marcos González.
Unicaja Banco participated this week in a workshop, organized in Malaga by Corresponsables, where businesses and stakeholders analyzed the strategic management of Corporate Social Responsibility and the state of responsible business in Andalusia.
The workshop’s inauguration, which coincided with the presentation of the yearbook Corresponsables 2018, has been attended by Unicaja Banco’s Head of CSR, José María Lopez, the Executive Deputy President of Malaga Association of Business Owners (CEM, Confederación de Empresarios de Málaga), Natalia Sánchez, and the President of Corresponsables, Marcos González.
José María López highlighted, as an example of the institution’s CSR, the Edufinet Project on financial education, a pioneering programme promoted by Unicaja Banco and Fundación Unicaja, with more than ten years of history and which collaborates with 14 universities and more than ten institutions and business organizations.
The workshop has also hosted a roundtable discussion 'Large companies and responsible business and CSR strategic management', including, among others, María José Rueda, member of the Directorate of Institutional Relations and Relations with Stakeholders of Unicaja Banco.
Finally, in another roundtable, stakeholders such as Malaga City Hall have discussed about the keys and challenges for a responsible business.
