The financial institution’s commitment to business internationalization is reflected in the wide and specialized range of products and services that it offers. In order to provide adequate information, Unicaja Banco has its own stand in this forum and it participates in round tables.

The support given by Unicaja Banco to this event falls within the assistance that it provides to the productive fabric and to the sectors which drive the local development and employment, in Andalusia –especially in the province of Malaga- and in the other areas where it operates.

Unicaja Banco sponsors Interex Fórum, the I International Diplomatic and Business Forum, organized by the Consular Corps of Malaga and held today and tomorrow in Malaga. The purpose of this event, held in the Trade Fairs and Congress Center, is to identify market niches and to establish relationships which create synergies and develop networking. To that end, it has representatives from 40 countries.

The goal of Interex Fórum is to assist the participants in finding new business opportunities, in Spain and abroad. An agenda of meetings with business owners and representatives from the participating countries is at the disposal of the attendees, placing Malaga in the center of international trade.

It is therefore an ideal framework for Unicaja Banco, which is committed to business internationalization, fiscal optimization in this process and the management of financial risks in the current economic environment. For those purposes, it offers a wide and specialized range of products and services.

With the goal of informing the attendees of Interex Fórum –which aims at becoming the largest networking event in Spain- about its offer of products and services, Unicaja Banco, the only financial institution sponsoring this event, has its own stand in the exhibition area.

The financial institution is also represented at the forum’s round tables, with the presence, among others, of José Francisco Posé, Unicaja Banco’s Head of International.

In summary, the support given by Unicaja Banco to this event falls within the assistance to the productive fabric and to the sectors which drive the local development and employment, in Andalusia (especially in the province of Malaga) and in the other areas where it operates.

Interex Forum, a meeting point for companies which want to go international and some thirty ambassadors, as well as commercial attachés and bilateral Chambers of Commerce, has among its goals to promote investment in Malaga, create synergies and find partners and clients. Four productive sectors are represented: ICT and new technologies, culture and tourism, urban development and infrastructure and agri-food.

Round tables

With regard to the round tables developed within the framework of Interex Fórum, with the collaboration of several local, regional and national institutions, ten discussion panels are scheduled. Round tables will deal with investment opportunities in sectors such as ICT, foreign trade, development of cities through cultures, new economies and crypto-currencies, international mobility, investment in Andalusia, agri-food, health tourism, urban development and infrastructure and big data.

The Malaga Trade and Congress Fair also hosts today and tomorrow individual meetings where the companies, with a previously defined agenda, can meet other companies; an inverse mission of the Chamber of Commerce and a networking lunch, to build a network of contacts to generate business opportunities for the attendees.

In addition to Spain, the countries present in the forum are: Czech Republic, Ecuador, Finland, France, Gambia, Hungary, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Morocco, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Senegal, Slovakia, Sweeden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Uruguay, USA and Vietnam.
