This new agreement falls within the support given by Unicaja Banco to the development of actions aimed at enhancing entrepreneurship and the business fabric, facilitating the economic boost and supporting job creation in the areas where it operates.
Unicaja Banco and Andalucia Emprende renewed today their collaboration agreement, under which entrepreneurs and business owners will have access, on advantageous terms, to financing to launch or consolidate their business projects and activities.
The beneficiaries of this agreement, executed by Unicaja Banco’s Head of Business Banking, Salvador Navarro, and by the Managing Director of Andalucía Emprende, Montserrat Reyes, will be entrepreneurs and business owners supported by this foundation, linked to the Department of Knowledge, Innovation and University of the Regional Government of Andalusia.
The renewal, for the fourth consecutive year, falls within Unicaja Banco’s interest to contribute to the implementation of actions aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and the business fabric, to facilitate the economic boost and to support job creation in the areas where it operates. In fact, as a benchmark financial institution in Andalusia, it intends to provide the future business owners with access to all the tools and solutions that they may need in the different phases of creation of a business.
Following counseling by Andalucia Emprende and the favorable report from its technical staff, business owners and entrepreneurs may go to Unicaja Banco to subscribe any of the products included in the agreement entered into. The agreement also includes the joint organization of financial education activities for business owners and entrepreneurs through informative and training sessions.
Main features of the new agreement
The range of financial products and services which, under the agreement entered into, Unicaja Banco offers to the business owners and entrepreneurs which receive the advice of Andalucía Emprende is divided into two large blocks: ‘Financiación Inicia’, with products and services to launch new business projects; and ‘Financiación Consolida’, with products and services for established companies. The second block also includes a type of financing called ‘Intraemprendimiento’, aimed at the implementation of business projects in large companies. The specific products included in each block are:
‘Financiación Inicia’. Products and services to launch new projects:
- Microcredits to promote self-employment and to launch viable business projects. For an amount of up to 25,000 euros to finance up to 90% of the presented initiative.
- ‘First Company’ Loans for entrepreneurs.
‘Financiación Consolida’ and ‘Intraemprendimiento’. Financing products and services to consolidate established business projects and to implement business projects in large companies: financing for investments, acquisition of premises or offices, and to cover liquidity needs. Additionally, financing to promote foreign trade of companies, both export and import transactions. The agreement also considers the introduction of specific products such as Unicaja Confirming, and leasing.
