Unicaja Banco renews for one more year its support to the tourism industry with the signature of agreements with three of the most representative business associations of the sector in Andalusia and Malaga: Asociación de Empresarios de la Costa del Sol (Aehcos), Agencias de Viajes asociadas de Andalucía (Aedav) and Asociación de Empresarios de Playas de la provincia de Málaga (Aeplayas), which represent around 1,000 companies.

With these agreements, the bank offers to the businesses of this sector a full range of specific products and services on advantageous terms, to support the development of their activities, providing also financing to set up new businesses.

With these agreements, the bank offers to these companies a full range of specific products and services on advantageous terms, to support the development of their activities, providing also financing to set up new businesses.

 

The support that Unicaja Banco gives to the tourism industry reflects the bank’s certainty of the relevance of this sector in the social and economic development of Malaga and Andalusia as a fundamental driver in job creation.

 

The agreements have been entered into by Unicaja Banco’s Regional Manager in Málaga, José Manuel Alba; the President of Aehcos, Luis Callejón; the President of Aedav Andalucía, Sergio García; and the President of Aeplayas, Manuel Villafaina.

 

The specific and integral financial service that Unicaja Banco offers on very advantageous term intends to meet the needs of the companies member of the associations. This falls within the financial institution’s traditional support to the business sector and job creation. The main aspects of the offer, included in two agreements, are the following:

 

- Financing for businesses, for investments, acquisition of premises, covering cash-flow needs; personal needs of members and employees; investments in fixed assets via leasing and renting, as well as other financial products and services for businesses and business owners.

 

-Full range of Unicaja Banco’s products and services, on advantageous terms, such as:

  • Zero Plan for Professional Firms and Freelancers and access to the many advantages of the Business Account and Personal Banking Próxima Account.
  • Official funding lines. Agreement with Instituto de Crédito Oficial (I.C.O., Official Credit Institute).
  • Digital Banking (Unicaja Banco’s Univía Service and mobile services for smartphones and tables, PoST, etc.)
  • Payroll services, direct debits and different payment methods.
  • Wide range of pension plans and insurances.
 

Agreements benefiting nearly 1,000 companies

 

The Asociación de Empresarios Hoteleros de la Costa del Sol (Aehcos), Agencias de Viajes asociadas de Andalucía (Aedav Andalucía) and Asociación de Empresarios de Playas de la provincia de Málaga (Aeplayas) are currently three of the most important professional associations of Andalusía and Málaga touristic industry, representing around 1,000 companies.

  • Asociación de Empresarios Hoteleros de la Costa del Sol (Aehcos)

Established in 1977, it has more than 350 members, including hotels, touristic apartments and hostels, which accounts for more than 88% of the Costa del Sol rooms.

  • Agencias de Viajes asociadas de  Andalucía (Aedav Andalucía)

Established in 1977, it has more than 100 agencies associated, which have more than 460 offices in Andalusia.

  • Asociación de Empresarios de Playas de la provincia de Málaga (Aeplayas)

Organization created in 1970, it groups now more than 420 members from the sectors of chiringuitos, sun beds, nautical and play parks.
