Unicaja Banco hosted today in Torre del Mar (Vélez-Málaga) a new seminar of Enclave Agrario, a series of meetings with business owners of the agricultural sector, held in different cities to analyse the new business trends and strategies, as well as the importance of the agri-food sector in the Spanish economy. In particular, it has focused on the business opportunities for the fruit and vegetable sector.
In today’s seminar, organized with the collaboration of Asaja Malaga and held at Hotel Mainake in Torre del Mar, the consultant David del Pino, specialist in agri-food marketing, has given a talk focused on the features and opportunities of the fruit and vegetable sector. The event has also been attended by Unicaja Banco’s Regional Manager for Malaga, José Manuel Alba; by the Head of Agricultural Business of the financial institution, Francisco Vilches, and by the representative of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development, Javier Salas.

Lecture by David del Pino
The consultant David del Pino, specialist in agri-food marketing, has given a talk called ‘(Nearly) Immutable truths of the agri-food industry’, focused on the features of the sector and its business opportunities and potential.
Del Pino has reviewed the characteristics of the fruit and vegetable sector and its constraints regarding business and strategic management; assumed risk and productive factors in comparison with other sectors; and the influence of the perishability of agricultural products in the sales cycle and in the required investments.
