Unicaja Banco participates one more year in the aid campaign of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and it provides its customers with advice and personalized management and processing of their application dossiers, as well as with the possibility of receiving the advance payment of the aids through loans under favourable conditions.
In this sense, Unicaja Banco has established for this CAP campaign a pre-granted loan facility for a total amount of €332 million, available to customers receiving payments from the European Union and based in Andalusia, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura.
Unicaja Banco’s commitment to support agriculture and cattle farming materialises in the provision of financial and protection and advisory services, in the development of specific agreements and in shareholdings in companies of the sector. The Institution offers the possibility to receive payments in advance, with and without interests, in a fast way and under favourable conditions.
Unicaja Banco collaborates one more year with the departments of Agriculture of the Regional Governments of Andalusia, Castilla y León, Extremadura and Castilla-La Mancha in the processing of the subsidies from the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). It launches a specific campaign for its customers, offering advantageous terms and experience in the personalized advice, management and processing of their application dossiers, as well as the possibility to receive the payments in advance with loans under favourable conditions. For that purpose, it has established a loan facility for €332 million.
Unicaja Banco establishes for nearly 27,650 customers (farmers) in Andalusia, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura, in addition to its usual financing products, a pre-granted loan facility, increased with regard to the previous year.
The participation of Unicaja Banco in the CAP campaign of subsidies (Basic Payment Scheme, Green Payment, Young Farmers Scheme, Farming Associated Aids and Agri-environmental Measures) falls within the Institution’s historic commitment to support agriculture and farming, which materialises in the provision of financial, protection and advisory services, in the development of specific agreements and in shareholdings in companies of the sector.
The campaign launched on the occasion of the start of the period to submit applications to get CAP subsidies (olive, sheep, goat, beef and vial cattle, arable crops, protein and industrial crops, nuts…) is supported by technical, human and financial resources of Unicaja Banco, to offer experience and confidence, factors especially valued by customers.
Unicaja Banco provides assistance to these customers in the submission of the applications to get different aids for the current campaign. For that purpose, farmers can go to any branch of the Institution in Andalusia, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura, without the need of a prior appointment and where they will receive specialized advice and assistance to fill in their applications.
The processing of these subsidies by Unicaja Banco involves some advantages for the beneficiaries, such as personalized advice, processing and management of their dossier and also the possibility to receive the advance payment of the aid granted, with or without interest and with exceptional conditions.
With regard to this facility of €332 million for pre-granted loans for customers having their application directly paid into their account at Unicaja Banco, the main advantage is that these professionals will have fast and agile access with a low interest rate to the amounts to cover their needs.
Period for the submission of applications
Regarding the periods for the submission of applications for agricultural subsidies, those interested may submit their applications by 30 April and by 31 October for the advance payment. The experience of Unicaja Banco in the agricultural sector in general, and in Andalusia, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura in particular, is proven with the continuous adaptation of its services to the needs of farmers.
In fact, the bank puts at the disposal of these professionals a wide range of specialized products and services under advantageous conditions, what is possible through the agreements entered into with the main farming cooperatives and organizations in both regions.
