The current campaign of the Tax Agency shall be in force until 1 July. However, tax bills to be paid by bank direct debit, must be filed by 26 June.
Since last year, taxpayers can file income tax through the AEAT (Spanish Tax Agency) mobile app and apply for an appointment through the ‘Callback Scheme’, through which the AEAT calls taxpayers to prepare and file their income tax returns over the phone. Assistance at tax offices will start on 14 May.
Unicaja Banco, on the occasion of the Income Tax Campaign (IRPF) 2018, offers one more year the possibility to finance tax bills on advantageous terms or to receive the tax refund in advance. As an institution which collaborates with the Tax Agency (Agencia Tributaria), it enables the use of the Internet within the framework of the service that it provides to file tax returns to the Tax Agency online.
Specific loans on advantageous terms are offered to fund the amount due to the Tax Agency, in the case of positive tax returns, and the Bank also offers the possibility to receive the tax refund in advance in case of negative filings.
In particular, if the taxpayer must pay a tax bill, Unicaja Banco offers a loan through Renta Fácil Positiva, on advantageous terms and to be repaid in 12 installments.
If the filing results in a tax refund, the Bank allows the customer to receive in advance total or part of the refund, with a 0% interest rate, through Renta Fácil Negativa, up to 3,000 euros and to be repaid by 31 December 2019.
The Income Tax campaign 2018 will end on 1 July, both for positive and negative tax bills. However, tax returns with tax amounts payable, if payment is to be made by bank direct debit, must be filed by 26 June.
