Unicaja Banco supports the farmers of Campo de Níjar and Eastern Almeria affected by the recent floods that have hit the Southern and Eastern coast of Spain, with a line of pre-approved loans for an amount of 50 million euros, under advantageous conditions, to face the damages suffered in their farms.

Unicaja Banco’s pre-approved loans are a fast financing tool which offers advantageous conditions for the repair and re-building of those greenhouses damaged by the effects of adverse weather conditions.

The affected farmers may apply for this preferential financing at any Unicaja Banco branch in the province of Almería, where they will be served by specialized staff.

The bank also puts at the disposal of its customers all the information and advice related to agricultural insurances and coverage.

This action, with a specific financing solution, falls within Unicaja Banco’s ongoing support to agriculture in general and to the province of Almería in particular. It also reflects its interest in fostering the economic development of the areas where it operates.
