Unicaja Banco and Círculo Empresarial Leonés (CEL) have entered into a collaboration agreement which includes preferential financing conditions for Leon entrepreneurs. Both institutions renew their historic alliance to foster the development of the province and to boost business activity, with special focus on SMEs and freelancers. The agreement has been signed by Julio César Álvarez, President of CEL, and Margarita Serna, Regional Manager of Unicaja Banco in Leon.

Círculo Empresarial Leonés (CEL) is a private multi-sectoral business association, with 1,200 companies in the Leon province. Throughout its 20 years of trajectory, it has represented and defended the interests of its members, most of them SMEs.

Unicaja Banco offers CEL members different credit facilities under preferential conditions, which will allow Leon business owners to cover their needs of liquidity or working capital, to make investments or to create new business lines. The bank also includes other products, under preferential conditions, that may be useful for entrepreneurs, as well as specific transactions for exports, cheque settlement, imports, transfers, remittances, documentary credits and exchange rate insurances.

The bank provides a wide range of financing possibilities, such as credit facilities, commercial discount, personal loans and mortgages or leasing and reverse factoring. These transactions can be implemented under special conditions through the bank’s own funds or through different facilities enabled thanks to agreements with ICO (Official Credit Institute), Iberaval or other institutions.
