Unicaja Banco, within the framework of its agreement with Caser for life and non-life insurance and within the ongoing improvement of its products and services, has launched a new home insurance with supplementary coverage and services and which, as a new feature, allows to provide home insurance not only to homeowners but also to tenants.
The new Seguro Hogar Protección is positioned as one of the most complete in the market. Among other advantages, those customers who take out a policy by 30 September will get a gift (a pod coffee machine) and, if the policy is for several years, customers will enjoy discounts ranging from 10%, if it is for three years, to 15% if it is for five years.
Furthermore, customers will receive a price-adjusted insurance, as the dwelling’s square meter surface will be valued independently from other annex areas such as garages or basements.
Additionally, the insurance includes, for those interested, the repair of home appliances (washing machine, tumble dryer, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, extractor hood, electric or induction cooker, oven and microwave) by a professional who will go to the dwelling. Customers will have access to two three-hour services per year.
This insurance also includes a home maintenance and DIY service, professional attention for the elderly, online training resources for children and adults and remote IT assistance. This way, it provides coverage to different groups: families, young people and the senior.
Car insurance and other policies
Also in the non-life insurance segment, in the case of car insurance, those customers who apply for a budget and also those who take out a policy will get a gift (a car wash coupon and a Help Flash device, respectively).
Likewise, additional coverage such as 'Coche x Coche' (Car x Car) is offered. This coverage ensures customers that if their car is declared a total loss, and if the repair cost exceeds the car’s value, they will get another car, choosing from a range of similar vehicles.
The Car Insurance marketed by Unicaja Banco responds to a personalised offering, where customers can subscribe the modality that best suits their interests and needs.
These new features fall within the improvement of the Uni Insurance Plan, which allows customers to group into a single account all the premiums of a family, splitting the payments over monthly installments at no cost, and which until 30 September eliminates the requirement to make a new subscription.
Additionally, and bearing businesses in mind, the bank markets insurances with different incentives, such as the maintenance of up to five fire extinguishers in the case of shops and SMEs or a multi-pocket waistcoat for those customers taking out an agricultural insurance. These products are offered at a highly competitive and flexible rate, adapted to each profile.
