Unicaja Banco supports training and, specifically Vocational Training as a way to improve the specialization and employability, thus facilitating the access of young people to the job market. This support is reflected in the signing of a collaboration agreement with MEDAC school, under which students and staff will have access to financial products and services on advantageous terms.
The agreement falls within Unicaja Banco’s commitment to young people in general and to their education and training in particular, reflected in different financial products and services to support the educational community of the Instituto Oficial de Formación Profesional (FP) MEDAC.
In accordance with the financial collaboration agreement, signed by Unicaja Banco Regional Manager for Malaga, Agustín Sánchez López, and by MEDAC CEO, Miguel Reinoso Fernández-Caparrós, a comprehensive and specific service will be at the disposal of students (8,500 pupils expected for the school year 2020-2021) and the staff (nearly 650 employees, including teachers and administration staff), in order to facilitate and improve the development of their management and activities.
Offering for students
With regard to financial products and services for students, Unicaja Banco presents a full and competitive offering in terms of specific financing, always subject to the bank’s criteria, including specific loans to finance the school’s annual tuition fees or the fee of the full vocational training degree or ongoing education studies.
Furthermore, it puts at the disposal of young people aged between 18 and 27 products such as the young person’s Contacless Mastercard debit card, with no issuance or maintenance fee, and the services of the mobile apps Unicaja Móvil and Unipay Bizum, as well as the rest of benefits offered by Unicaja Banco’s digital banking.

MEDAC is a private Vocational Training and ongoing education school, with online masters’ programmes and its own diplomas, oriented to employment and entrepreneurship. In particular it offers, in person and online medium and higher level diplomas on sports, healthcare, sociocultural activities, trade and marketing, IT and administration. The school is accredited by the Junta de Andalucía, Comunidad de Madrid, Comunidad Valenciana, Región de Murcia and Gobierno de Castilla-La Mancha.
