Badajoz City Hall has subscribed with Unicaja Banco two loans for more than 33 million euros for the development of investments in the city and for the co-financing of local proposals charged to the European Next Generation funds.
Specifically, one of the loans, for 21,165,652 euros, will enable the development of more than 100 actions included in the Investment Plan of Badajoz City Hall, with the goal of boosting the local economy.
The 12,467,952 euros loan will make it possible to co-finance projects submitted to calls for EU Next Generation funds.
Both loans have been recently subscribed by the Mayor of Badajoz, Ignacio Gragera, and the Head of Business Banking in Badajoz, Jesús Merino.
Unicaja Banco seeks to contribute, as far as possible, to the development of actions that allow for the economic boost of Extremadura in general and of Badajoz in particular, within the framework of the bank’s commitment to this region.
