Unicaja Banco and Asociación Agraria Jóvenes Agricultores (Asaja) Albacete join forces by renewing the agreement under which they collaborate to facilitate the processing and management of CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) subsidies to farmers and livestock breeders.

Under the agreement, the members of Asaja Albacete will be able to use the organization’s specialized staff and resources and experience to process their application, while, at the same time, will have access to several financial advantages provided by Unicaja Banco, such as the advance payment of the aids.

The agreement has been signed by Unicaja Banco’s Regional Manager in Albacete, Alfonso Francisco Martínez Argudo, and by Head of Asaja Albacete, Jorge Navarro González, and it will put at the disposal of farmers assistance with their dossiers and access to financing products especially designed to meet their needs.

Navarro González has remarked that ‘Asaja Albacete has an excellent technical team with professionals with extensive experience in the processing of CAP subsidies. After processing, we will advise and maintain a thorough monitoring of all the dossiers, so that they comply with current regulations, and solving any problems that may arise, so that all farmers and livestock breeders receive their CAP payment as soon as possible’.

As Martínez Argudo has stated, ‘Unicaja Banco maintains a strong support to farmers and livestock breeders in Albacete and Castilla-La Mancha, as a bank with a long-standing presence in the area’. He has also highlighted the importance of this kind of agreements ‘to learn, first-hand, thanks to Asaja Albacete, the needs and new business opportunities of farmers’.

Broad range of products and services

Unicaja Banco puts at the disposal of farmers a comprehensive range of specialized products and services under special conditions. In this line, farmers will find the funding they need to launch new business projects, invest in improvements or in the acquisition of new agricultural machinery, launch new crops or expand markets.

Likewise, and taking into account that each business, crop and farm has its own growth rates, the bank offers specific loans adapted to each need, such as, for example, those aimed at woody crops, which allow the expansion, renovation or diversification of this type of crops, which begin to be productive in the medium term. In short, Unicaja Banco works to develop new products and services adapted to the needs of the sector.
