Unicaja Banco will be present on 19 September at the Freshers’ Fair (Feria de Bienvenida) organized by the University of Salamanca for new students. The bank will have an information stand on products aimed specifically at students, such as funding for enrollment fees. The same stand will also be present at the fairs for students at the University’s campuses in Avila (20 September), Zamora (21 September) and Béjar (22 September).

One of the main products featured at the bank’s stand at the Freshers’ Fair will be its loans for students. The bank will once again make it easier for students at the University of Salamanca campuses to pay their tuition fees through its Préstamo Student (Student Loan), designed to finance enrollment in any type of official academic training. This loan has a fixed interest rate, so that the amount to be paid is known in advance, and has flexibility in repayment, with a term of up to five years.

This loan is intended to finance all types of studies, such as undergraduate university tuition, vocational training, master’s degrees, postgraduate studies, professional artistic education, sports training, higher religious studies or language training in official schools.

Students over 18 years of age with an account at Unicaja Banco can apply for this loan at any stage of their education, either at the beginning of their studies or when resuming them, and whose enrollment fee is at least 5,000 euros.

Unicaja Banco’s support to students and young people is part of its activity as a financial institution focused on retail and proximity banking, and thus it offers a series of products and services with financial advantages and tailored to their needs.

Products and services for students and young people

Unicaja Banco’s stand at the Freshers’ Fair will also promote three debit cards: Young Person Debit Card, Real Madrid Card and Play Station Card. Likewise, a campaign will be launched for customers between 18 and 27 years of age and who do not have a debit card and/or digital banking before 15 December. If they subscribe those products, they will participate in the draw for an IPhone 13. New customers who sign up for these products during the promotional period will also be able to participate in this promotion.

The products aimed at young people include the Young Person Account, Young Person Contactless Debit Card and Unicaja Banco’s Digital Banking, accessible through the website and Unicaja Banco App, and where customers can, in a secure, convenient and agile manner, view their accounts and make transactions such as transfers, payment of taxes and invoices, etc., and including Bizum.
