With the aim of continuing to support the transition to digital transformation of small businesses and freelancers, Unicaja Banco has gone a step further and has joined the ICO Red.es Digital Kit facility.

This funding facility not only benefits SMEs and freelancers, but also the digitalizing agents that provide solutions in this area, as it provides them in advance with the resources they need to carry out their business.

The purpose of this ICO line is to facilitate compliance with the objectives of the SME Digitalization Plan 2021-2025 of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation and to finance costs not covered by the Digital Kit Programme for issues, in the case of beneficiaries of the aids, such as the acquisition of computers and other IT equipment.

Unicaja Banco puts its network of branches at the disposal of SMEs, freelancers and digitalizing agents, for them to obtain ICO funding for digitalization projects, under the Digital Kit Programme, promoted by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation and funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU funds.

By joining the ICO Kit Digital facility, Unicaja Banco intends to meet the needs of companies, especially SMEs and entrepreneurs, within its usual strategy of collaboration and financing, thus contributing to boosting the growth of business activity in its main areas of operation.

Turnkey service

As part of this process for the digital transformation of SMEs and freelancers, Unicaja Banco offers, through its partner QDQ Media, a turnkey service for obtaining and using the Kit Digital grants. This is an opportunity to digitally modernize the business fabric with European aids.

The service offered is comprehensive and free of charge, provided that the voucher is partially or totally consumed with QDQ Media. To do so, it is only necessary to register through the contact form available at https://soluciones.qdqmedia.com/unicajabanco or by calling the digitizing agent’s (919 01 53 82). The beneficiaries of the digital voucher who register on this website will have to pay only the VAT for the digitization services.

The bank wants to pay special attention to SMEs and freelancers that can benefit from the Digital Kit aids, thus contributing to improving their competitiveness and their level of digital maturity and, in general, to the modernization of the business fabric, through the development or improvement of websites, e-invoice or SEO positioning, among other services.

Call for tranche three

The call for tranche three of the Digital Three opened on Thursday 20 October. Aids in this tranche are addressed at freelancers and micro-enterprises with zero to two employees.

Unicaja Banco continues to offer to business owners and freelancers a web simulator where they can obtain the information they need about Next Generation EU funds, as well as guidance during the process of search and processing of aids.

The Kit Digital aid scheme is endowed in Spain with 3,067 million euros and aims to advance the digitalization of SMEs, micro-SMEs and the freelancers. This economic amount is part of the Next Generation EU Funds, distributed in Spain by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and activated for the period 2022-2023.
