Unicaja Banco has launched the campaign for the processing of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2023 aids, providing its customers, with aids paid directly into their account at the bank, with the possibility of receiving the advance payment of the aids through loans under advantageous conditions, as well as with advice and personalized management in the processing of their application dossiers.
In addition, together with its usual financing, the bank has set up a line of pre-approved loans of 800 million euros, which will be offered to selected customers whose financial and risk situation meets the criteria established by the bank for granting this type of operation.
The advantage of this line of 800 million for pre-approved* loans, aimed at customers who have their application file paid directly through the bank this year, is that customer will be able to quickly and swiftly obtain the amounts with which to pay for the needs covered by the amount of the aid applied for. Likewise, this offer is extended with pre-approved five-year investment loans for the modernization and improvement of farms.
It should be noted that the bank continues to offer farmers and livestock breeders information and advice on the new regulatory framework for CAP aids, through the organization of seminars, which are being held in different locations in territories such as Andalusia, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura, in collaboration with associations and organizations in the sector.
Thus, the main novelties of the new CAP -which will be applied from 2023 to 2027- are presented to the attendees in order to clarify the new requirements and demands to be met in the development of farms in order to increase their competitiveness and productivity.
Unicaja Banco's commitment of continuous support to the farmers is reflected in the provision of financial, protection and advisory services, the development of specific agreements and shareholding in companies in the industry, as well as the transfer of knowledge, as in the case of the training sessions.
CAP 2023 aid campaign
The campaign launched on the occasion of the start of the period to submit applications to get CAP subsidies (olive groves, sheep, goat, beef and veal cattle, arable crops, protein and industrial crops, nuts, etc.) is supported by technical, human and financial resources of Unicaja Banco, to offer experience and confidence, factors especially valued by customers.
Unicaja Banco provides assistance to these customers in the submission of their applications to get different aids for the current campaign. For that purpose, farmers and livestock breeders can contact the bank’s branches, where they will receive specialized advice and assistance to fill in their applications.
In short, the processing of these aids by Unicaja Banco provides beneficiaries with advantages in terms of advice, management and personalized processing of their files and, among other aspects, the possibility of receiving, in advance, the subsidized amount under significant conditions.
Regarding the periods for the submission of applications for agricultural subsidies, those interested may submit their applications by 31 May, and by 31 October for the advance payment**. In fact, the bank puts at the disposal of these professionals a wide range of specialized products and services under advantageous conditions, what is possible through the agreements entered into with the main farming cooperatives and organizations.
