Unicaja Banco has signed an agreement with the Community of Madrid for the granting of guarantees aimed at facilitating young people’s access to their first home in the form of home ownership. Other financial institutions operating in the region are also participating in this program, which facilitates the granting of up to 95% of the mortgage for the purchase of an apartment for those under 35 years of age.
The Community of Madrid has expanded the Mi Primera Vivienda (My First Home) program, adding four more financial institutions to the three that were already part of this initiative.
This was announced today by the Regional Minister of Housing, Transport and Infrastructure, Jorge Rodrigo, confirming the renewal of the collaboration agreement and announcing the addition of the four new entities, including Unicaja Banco. In the 2022 call, this initiative contributed to boost almost 650 mortgages, benefiting 1,000 young people.

Applicants to this aid must prove their legal residence in the Community of Madrid, in a continuous and uninterrupted manner, in the two years before the date of application for the mortgage.
