Unicaja Banco will continue as main sponsor of the Miguel Delibes National Award for Journalism -which is celebrating its 27th edition this year-, as established in the renewal of the collaboration agreement between the bank and Valladolid Press Association (Asociación de la Prensa de Valladolid, APV).
The agreement has been entered into by Unicaja Banco’s Head of Institutional Relations and Image, Fernando Ríos, and by the President of Valladolid Press Association, Juan Martín.
The award includes a cash prize of 6,000 euros, contributed by Unicaja Banco, an institution with a long-standing relation with this event since it was first organized in 1996.
Fernando Ríos, in the name of the bank, has highlighted the importance of this journalism award at a national level, and has thanked the Press Association for their confidence in the institution as sponsor in this edition.
The President of Valladolid Press Association, Juan Martín, has expressed his satisfaction for the renewal of an agreement with a long-standing history of collaboration.
Terms of the call
Valladolid Press Association will disclose soon the terms of the new call to the 27th edition of the Miguel Delibes National Award for Journalism. Winners of past editions include renowned names such as Fernando Lázaro Carreter, Juan José Millás, Luis María Anson, Ignacio Camacho, Iñaki Gabilondo, Pepa Fernández or the Argentinian Martín Caparrós.
This agreement reflects Unicaja Banco’s commitment to culture, in general, and especially to the promotion of the good use of Spanish in the media and its right use as an informative instrument.
