Unicaja, within the framework of its collaboration with the University of Granada (UGR), participates this Wednesday and tomorrow Thursday in the Student Reception Days for the 2024-2025 academic year, organized by the academic institution.
This initiative, which has been developed for more than 30 years at the University of Granada, is held from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm, in the Paseíllos Universitarios, where Unicaja has a stand where students can obtain information about the products and services offered to them.
In fact, Unicaja's support for young people responds to its interest in promoting and facilitating access to university education as a tool for their future integration into the labor market.
Proof of this is the agreement that Unicaja and the University of Granada renewed last June, under which the bank made available to the more than 52,500 students of the UGR the Tuition Loan, a line of financing to facilitate the payment of this university fee, with 0% interest and no commissions.
As for the Student Reception Days for the 2024-2025 academic year, organized by the Vice-Rector's Office for Students and University Life and with more than fifty exhibitors, its objective is to inform students, especially new students, of the resources, activities and services available to them, as well as to improve their adaptation and integration in the university environment and in the city of Granada.
At these stands, students can learn about the cultural, institutional, associative and service offerings provided by different institutions and the University itself, with activities organized by the different entities participating in the conference.
Support to young people
In addition to specific products and services, Unicaja also has a complete financing offer to promote education, through the Student Loan, which covers the payment of university tuition, vocational training and special education in official public and private schools, as well as postgraduate master's degrees.
Apart from other actions in support of this demographic, the entity, as evidence of its social commitment, Unicaja is adhered to the programs for the granting of guarantees aimed at facilitating the access of young people to their first home in ownership.
