Unicaja and the Archbishopric of Toledo have renewed the agreement under which financing is provided to parishes dependent on the Archdiocese of Toledo, as well as to organizations that are part of the Archdiocese. More than three hundred beneficiaries will have access to special conditions on loans, credit accounts and current accounts at Unicaja.
The agreement was signed at Unicaja's facilities in Plaza de Zocodover in Toledo, by the bank’s regional manager for Castilla-La Mancha, Almudena Noheda, and by the diocesan bursar of the Archbishopric of Toledo, Anastasio Gómez.
Some of the products offered by the bank are the credit account or loans for the rehabilitation or construction of new churches, parish complexes, parish housing for priests and other centers, as well as for the acquisition of land, furniture or equipment.
The aim is to favor and improve the development of the management and activity of the Archbishopric and its parishes and related entities, as well as to improve their financial conditions.
More tan 300 parishes and organizations
The agreement signed between the two parties will benefit more than 300 parishes and organizations, as well as priests and personnel directly linked to the Archbishopric of Toledo.
Unicaja makes available to the Archbishopric of Toledo, as well as to its parishes and all the institutions of the diocesan scope that integrate them, a specific integral financial service, to which they will be able to have access through the network of offices of the bank.
With this agreement, the bank supports the work of the Archbishopric, contributing to facilitate its activity and supporting the parishes and entities that are part of the Archdiocese of Toledo.
