Unicaja has signed an agreement with the Association of Property Administrators of Castilla y León to unify existing professional relations with the 585 members of this association in the region, and with the homeowners' associations which are clients of the bank. This agreement entails a special offer to the communities to finance the execution of reforms or renovations that involve improvements in energy efficiency and sustainability. In addition, preferential conditions in terms of commissions will be applied to the accounts of the communities that have a registered property administrator.
The collaboration agreement was signed by Ángel Hernández Román, president of the Association of Property Administrators of Castilla y León, and by Manuel Rubio, regional manager of Unicaja in Castilla y León Sur.
With this agreement, Unicaja offers homeowners' associations in the region that are customers of the bank (or those that have an administrator linked to the bank), special financing conditions for renovations and reforms carried out in common areas, including the installation, improvement and renovation of elevators. Up to 80% of the investment will be financed, with a repayment period of up to 8 years.
In turn, a sustainable energy rehabilitation loan at a fixed rate is also offered to homeowners' associations for works that contribute to improving the efficiency of residential buildings, or to the implementation of renewable sources of supply that reduce the consumption of fossil fuels. The financing, with Next Generatión funds from the European Union, covers up to 100% of the cost of the intervention, and repayment terms can be up to 10 years.
The bank thus strengthens its link with this group through a package of products and services specially designed for homeowners' associations, offering solutions to their specific problems and needs under advantageous conditions.
Unicaja takes on the challenge of sustainability as an opportunity for the development and improvement of its daily activity. For this reason, it is working on a renewed offer of green financing, as well as on the reduction of its own carbon footprint and that of its customers, promoting a culture of sustainability.
